The Abel Tasman National Park includes New Zealand’s most excellent sandy beaches and has one of the highest sunshine hours in New Zealand. The area is surrounded by Native Bush and protected amid rocky cliffs, limestone and marble. It’s also renowned for its wildlife including native birds, seals and dolphin. It’s a beautiful, stunning landscape which is sure to take your breath away.

Kaiteriteri Beach located at the top of the South Island, is the opening to the Abel Tasman National Park. It’s one of the most popular family destinations packed with Apartments, Backpackers, Bed and Breakfast, Baches, Beach Houses, Campsites and Holiday Parks.

There is plenty to do including sea kayak, walking in the park’s along scenic bush tracks, swimming, snorkeling, sunbathe, waterskiing , dine on fresh local seafood, enjoy the region’s fine wines or go to see an artist’s studio or enjoy a helicopter ride, a great way to check out the area.
