Find an address, town or suburb by simply typing the place in the search box provided. It’s the recommended site because it’s the easiest and fastest way to find your way around New Zealand. As soon as you start typing into the search box, you will be given a list of possible addresses that the database thinks you are looking for, simple select the one that you require or if it’s not in the list just keep typing and press the “find place” button. You will be presented with a clear and precise map detailing the exact location and how to get there. The options on the page allow you to zoom in and zoom out, print and email.

With Wises you can find any place in New Zealand or a business e.g. plumbers or Mitre 10. All you have to do is type the location in the search box provided. When you type the first few letters of your search, a list of possible matches will be shown to you. Select the one you require or carry on typing. Click on the “Go” button once done. You will be presented with a map showing the address you searched for. Options available to you on this page are print, save and send to a friend. You can also control the map and move up, down, right and left. Wises also has a feature where you can get driving directions. You will need to enter the the starting point and destination

When you enter the site you will see a map on the FrontPage. To find where to go simply click on the map or use the drop down boxes to search by street index or suburb (recommended). You will be presented with another window where you can zoom in and out, make the map narrower or wider, shorter or taller. You can click on any area on the map to centre the title. To print the map you can either right click your mouse button and select “print” from the menu option.
