Ski Resort

Craigieburn is New Zealand’s biggest off-piste alpine playground and is more suitable for strong, skilled and adventurous skiers. The skiing and snowboarding here is wild with Steep narrow chutes, wide open powder bowls or simply a place to relax in the breath-taking landscape of the Craigieburn Range.
Craigieburn is 100% natural which means there is no snowmaking on this field. There is no beginners terrain only intermediate and advanced.

Number of Lifts

Three high-powered rope tows run up the North East side of the valley, giving a vertical drop of 500 metres and 400 hectares of terrain.

two on field accommodation – Koroheke and Matuhi Lodge is situated at the base of the field nestled amongst native beech forest. They provide accommodation ranging from bunk and private rooms, to family rooms. Other facilities include a large kitchen area, lounge, TV and bar.
