Ski Resort
Ohau is a commercial ski field situated in Mackenzie country, Canterbury in the South Island of New Zealand. The terrain is inside a big basin and there is a 20 min hike up to the ridge from the top of the lift. You get magnificent views of beautiful snow capped mountains of the Southern Alps once at the top.
Ohau is suitable for all levels and facilities offered to suit everyone for instance for beginners there’s the easy to use snow mat. For intermediates to advanced there’s exciting terrain in excellent powder areas. On field accommodation is available 15 min from the slopes at Lake Ohau Lodge.
